reflections..
wow.. so fast and now 5months have passed.. our kls has tightened a little more too.. feels kewlta b part of 05s54.. we're diverse yet not too divided.. guess we've got different talents, that's why we dun seem so close..
well, anyway, was really touched yesterday when the class wished me all the best for that event that made me so nervous.. thankful for the encouragement and support that you guys showed.. honest.. can't really eXpress what i felt..

dear diary,
today started off with me going to school late. was supposed to meet the team at 715am but i woke up late and only reached at 730am!!! fortunateli KelLey pushed the meeting time earlier just so that we could do warm ups.. *whew*
oh, by the way, i forgot to mention why i was going to school.. well, there's this interhouse volleyball competition that some of the 05s54ers participated in to represent HOSE.. yups! in total, there are 8 of us: HuiLing, Roxanne, SheMin, Anuaar, Kel Ley, Kenneth, Teenesh & mi.. *:)*
so yesterday, SheMin ran a volleyball crash course for some of us after school in preparation for this morning's event. *:P* unfortunateli, afta the training, she accidentalli pulled a ligament so was unable to join us for the match today.. *:S*
first thoughts that came to mind: "DIE. sure lose liao."
because Roxanne was actually supposed to be in another team.. well, in the end, she joined us(hopefully she didn't tire herself out, coping with matches for the two teams.. *yikez!*) and proved a great asset to the team.. *:)*
man, you should have seen us play! the first match was in the morning, against a team from Venn, i think.. it was pure tyco-ness that we won both sets, 15-11 & 15-14.. a close fight, i would say..
second match? haha.. walkover! that's because the team from Gomez didn't come.. hehe.. *grinz*
third match. in the afternoon, under the hot sun. tough one against a team comprising of j2 students, some of whom were Volleyball boys!! *yikez!* yeah.. a psychological battle before we even entered the courts.. *:S*
yeah.. it was here when the qualities of good judgement, team spirit and alertness were much needed.. and guess what? all these, coupled with some skill in handling the ball and lotsa encouragement did shine through and helped us win the next two sets, 15-4 & 15-11!
haha.. a good team, a good fight.. *:)*
we've now progressed to the semi finals.. (think it's this coming Wed..)
hope we continue to do well! yet, i know that winning isn't everything..
after all, we were just beginners, some of us never touching a volleyball till this week, and we made it this far..

P.S.: what i took back from this eXperience, a "chow-tar" face and neck and a whole lotta fun. *:)*

HEY.....
Yup...just a reminder that everyone must bring $15 tmr for class barbecue and class fund(EVERYONE!!!! even those not going!!! no exceptions... )
Oh ya.....if u guys did'nt know...ms yeo is down with a stomachache today....so she is feeling sick(prob feeling sad too.... :( ) yup.....so if u guys want... do msg her to see if she's feeling better yea? think it'll make her happier to know we care about her as much as she does for us.. :]
aniwae...we'll be passing around a get well card tmr so do write short personal msgs to cheer her up too.....
Oh ya...remember to do ur bio tutorial guys!! ( esp ms yeo's class as we should'nt make her angry with us since she's sick already....)
